Deals with limited or special hearing problems and the devices to assist in alleviating the difficulty in hearing. AT Devices and Preparation Have:

  • If you buy appliances with alarms, be sure they are loud enough for you to hear.
  • Many churches in Utah provide headsets that amplify the service for those who are hard of hearing. Check with your church to see if these services are provided. Almost all Latter Day Saints chapels are equipped with this type of system.
  • If you live in a senior housing unit, the amplifiers are useful so you can hear your TV without disrupting others in the complex.
  • The flasher can be attached to lamps throughout the house so when a person is watching TV with the volume up high they can tell the phone is ringing.
  • The amphlifiers can be can be used in movie and live production theatres.
