LEGAL ASSISTANCE

Legal Assistance provided under the Older American's Act funding may differ from county to county. Generally speaking, seniors who are unable to manage their own affairs or changing needs appropriately may need legal assistance. Legal services provide advice and counsel to older persons and their families in dealing with financial and business concerns. In more extreme situations, protective services may be needed. Such services are designed to safeguard the rights and interests of older persons, to protect them from harm, and/or protect their property.
