SHELTERED WORKSHOPS

For individuals with more severe disabilities, sheltered workshops offer a daytime care option. Day training services are designed to prevent institutional placement and should include opportunities to enhance self-esteem, maximize independent functioning, facilitate skill development, increase utilization of community resources and relieve isolation.
