TO SUPPLEMENT INCOME If your circumstances
are such that planning for retirement or financial securities were not possible
there are resources in the community to help. Many local county and state governments
have programs that provide services and some financial assistance. Services:
These services may include: - local
food pantries
- HEAT Assistance Program
- weatherization
program
- Area Agency on Aging and senior citizen's
center services
- church and religious groups
- hospital
assistance for medical expenses when people are not able to pay their bills
- consumer
credit (debt counseling)
- FEMA (Federal Emergency
Management Program)
- housing and rental assistance
- subsidized
housing units with reduced rent
