Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice
Effective Oct 27, 2026
This notice explains how Pillar4 Media, LLC handles "consumer health data" as defined by Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law, Connecticut's data privacy law and similar state laws. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What consumer health data we collect
- Quiz answers that relate to health or physical condition, for example: whether the person has fallen before, uses a mobility aid, lives alone, has trouble hearing, or has a condition that makes a medical alert system useful
- Product interest that could reveal a health need, such as asking about fall detection or hearing aids
- Contact details linked to the above, and the fact that you asked to be contacted about a health-related product
- Calls to a number on our site about a health-related product, including the number you called from
We don't collect precise location, biometric data, diagnoses, medications or insurance details.
Where we get it
Directly from you, when you answer a quiz, submit a form or call. Partners may tell us whether your request was accepted.
Why we collect and use it
- To match you with a product and send your request to the company you choose
- To show you a relevant result or phone number
- To keep a record of your consent and the request we sent
- To measure, in aggregate, which quizzes and pages are useful
We use it only for these purposes, or as you separately agree.
Your rights
You can ask us to confirm whether we hold your consumer health data, get a copy, see the list of everyone we shared it with (with their contact details), delete it, and withdraw your consent. Use our privacy request form or email aginginplaceorg@gmail.com. We respond within 45 days. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and then contact your state attorney general.
When we delete your data, we also tell our service providers to delete it. Partners that already received your request act on their own; we'll give you their contact details.
Consent
We ask for two separate consents on any form that collects health-related answers:
- Consent to collect and use your answers to show you a match
- Consent to share your answers and contact details with the named company
[Counsel: confirm whether Washington residents also need a signed authorization for a "sale," since we're paid per referral. See Overview, question 2.]
