You must be 18 or older. If you submit information for someone else, such as a parent, you confirm you have their permission.

We publish reviews, comparisons and guides, and we connect people with independent companies that sell medical alert systems, hearing aids and related products ("Partners"). We don't make, sell, install or monitor any product, and we aren't a party to any purchase you make from a Partner. Each Partner sets its own prices, contracts, warranties and policies.

Content on the Site is general information. It isn't medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it doesn't replace a doctor, audiologist or other qualified professional.

The Site is not an emergency service. If you have an emergency, call 911. Submitting a form or calling a number on the Site does not activate any monitoring or emergency response. Medical alert systems depend on power, cellular or landline service, device settings and the provider's monitoring center, and no device guarantees help will arrive.

Our ratings reflect our editorial judgment, described in Behind Our Ratings. We try to keep prices, features and offers current, but Partners change them often. Always confirm details with the Partner before you buy.

We earn money when you click some links, when we send your request to a Partner, and when you call a Partner through a number on our Site. See our Advertising Policy.

When you submit a form, you confirm the information is accurate and yours to give (or given with permission). If you agree to the consent on a form, the named Partner may contact you by phone, text or email, including with automated technology or prerecorded messages. Consent isn't a condition of any purchase. Calls through numbers on the Site may be recorded and monitored for quality and billing; you'll be told at the start of the call.

Don't:

• submit false information or someone else's details without permission
• use bots, scrapers or automated tools to access or copy the Site
• interfere with the Site's security or operation
• use the Site for anything unlawful

The Site's content, design and trademarks belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Anything else needs our written permission. Partner names and logos belong to their owners.

Links to Partner and other sites are for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant any Partner product or service.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any Partner's product, service, monitoring or failure to respond. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to $100.

Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms will be resolved by confidential, binding arbitration on an individual basis, administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and governed by the Federal Arbitration Act. You and we waive any right to a jury trial or to take part in a class or representative action. Either side may bring an individual claim in small claims court, or seek an injunction for misuse of intellectual property. You can opt out of this section within 30 days of first using the Site by emailing aginginplaceorg@gmail.com with your name and the subject "Arbitration opt-out."

These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, except where the Federal Arbitration Act applies. Any claim not subject to arbitration will be brought in the state or federal courts in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms.

We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new effective date. Changes don't apply to disputes that arose before they were posted.
